I was recommended to Jake in August 2019. I had always worked out regularly (4-5x a week), but never felt I had the body shape I desired. I always recognised that this was likely to my nutritional intake. I am often in my car or travelling for work so grabbing something ‘on the run’ has always been a challenge, or excuse! In addition, I am a sucker for all the usual sugary treats – ice cream, pizza, burgers etc! I went to see Jake with a view to get a nutrition plan. 6 months later I have enjoyed 48 of the small group boot camps and I have just completed his 12 week plan.
I cannot recommend Jake and his team enough. From his continual support and blunt honesty to his exceptional knowledge around training and nutrition. If you haven’t joined one of Jake’s bootcamps yet, it’s a must and you will be hooked – hating him at the end but asking him 5 minutes later when the next one is! The different training sessions have given me confidence to incorporate a variety training ideas to my own sessions – just be creative and you can have a great workout anywhere! Most importantly for me, working with Jake for 6 months has got me to a place where I have a sustainable nutritional plan that I enjoy, allows for ‘treats’ and has variety!
Honestly, its been awesome fun, transformational to my training and gave me the results I have always wanted! I cant wait to get back in the Cave with Jake and his team and continue the journey!
What would you say has been your greatest achievement over the past 12 weeks following Jake Wood’s Body Transformation Plan? 100% the end result. But this is made up by all the small parts of the process – ie, the nutrition, the working out, being strict and organised with food prep, making changes to my lifestyle.
Please state the best thing you have learnt about nutrition which you can continue in your lifestyle? Be simple. This was my major thing from the whole process. I started working with you due to my lack of nutrition knowledge. I have a process now that is sustainable and most importantly, enjoyable! Everything is in moderation.
This experience has changed my outlook, attitude to nutrition/working out and passion for exercise.
